Student Advisory Board (SAB)
Overview
The SAB is designed to collaborate with the Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) to develop activities & programs that serve and enrich the student body. Students assist in the planning of school activities and events while learning business fundamentals and leadership skills.
Highlights
The SAB works to promote school success. Students provide assistance at school dances and events, Back-to-School nights, and community events. Members should attend meetings regularly and engage in the planning process.
Time Commitment
Meetings will be held after school at least once a month and last no more than one hour and thirty minutes. Times will vary when working events. Students must arrange for their own transportation.
The SAB meets and works through the end of the school year.
How to Sign Up
Students interested in becoming a member of the SAB must complete a student application. Grades, behavior, and exemplification of TRIBE expectations are evaluated for each eligible student.
Applications go live on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024 and must be submitted by Friday, Oct. 25, 2024.
Grade level administrators approve students to be members of the board.
