Cheerleading
Team Overview
The cheerleading program at Matoaca Middle School has the ultimate goal to help our athletes develop confidence, discipline, teamwork and goal setting. Cheerleading also teaches athletes to be proud of their successes, accept defeat gracefully, and maintain respect for fellow competitors.
Our cheerleading program involves learning and preforming a variety of skills, including tumbling, jumping, dancing, stunting and pyramids. Cheerleading is a team sport that requires a lot of teamwork and synchronization.
